Our Beginnings

White Space Art was established in the heart of the market town of Totnes in 2003 by husband and wife, Jolyon White and Sarah Bowman. The gallery exhibits an ever-changing collection of work by emerging and established British artists, predominantly from the southwest of England.

The gallery holds several exhibitions throughout the year and exhibits at various art fairs.

How to find us

Located in the beautiful South Hams region of Devon, Totnes neighbours the artistically renowned Dartington Hall Estate and is a short journey from the A38 and the M5. London is an easy journey by train.

Once in Totnes, we’re easy to find, situated just below the historic clock tower, next door to the museum.

A White Space Art gift voucher is the perfect present for a loved one or a friend. Available in any amount and valid towards the purchase of any gallery artwork, it allows the recipient to choose their favourite work of art. Vouchers are valid for 18 months from date of purchase.
